The periods of human life are divided into 3 main stages in the view of yantra. The first of those periods is obviously the first part of our lives, which is seen as a complete cycle of 27 years, as is considered to be our educational period. The second period is thought of as the productive period in which most individuals enter the family and housholder lifestyle. Third period is retirement from those worldly actvities and we enter a more contemplative/reflective time. Each of these periods is governed by a specific chakra energy, and the final period of Sanyasa is that which covers all of life, or should I say it is the spiritual path which can be taken to at any time in life. Sanyasa and Dharma Marga are the purpose of our being here from the universe's perspective, not always seen during the Ego life, so it takes its place at the end of one's usual material life when we have time to contemplate our lives in retrospect. End of our material life can be induced anytime as we renounce the world and take to that spiritual path.

The number of the month into which you are born determines which chakra energy will be molding you through the first perion, Bramacharya. If you are born in March for instance, that is the third month - powered by Manipura Chakra, the energy of fire, action and transformation. To be continued . . .
