What is known in Western science as
Magnetic.

The geometric structure of the universe is contained in its magnetic field, and all structures within are but reflections of that.

In this area of the mind we use the magnetic energy of Ajna to direct our logical thinking process.Our ability to understand comes from the ability of magnetic fields to contain information just as does a magnetic tape or cd.

Yantra yoga is a complex system of mathematics and geometry which assigns values to the forces which make up the universe. These forces can then be mapped out as mathematical formulas and geometric patterns: the type of patterns we see in crystals, snowflakes and flowers. The entire cosmos is unfolding as a growing mandala - a concentric geometric pattern, flowing outward to the extremities of the universe. As the electromagnetic energies of the stars come back in and converge at various angles they condense and create the manifest world we perceive with our senses. Generally we cannot directly perceive this energy, but with modern scientific technology it can now be observed and measured. Through the practices of concentration techniques known as Dharana in Yoga, the inner vision can be carefully developed so that we may indeed see these vibrant energies as they enter the mind in their geometric patterns. Such methods are a trqaditional part of real yoga and are taught in the Chakra Yoga system of empowerment. This leads to an awakening, and develops understanding of the energy world neede to become a certified teacher of the chakras and the realm of tantra yoga.

The Chakra Yoga Center is offering a 3 month intensive Teacher Training Program in the Science of Yoga, Chakra System.

Class instruction will run Monday to Thursday 6:30-4:30pm .

As the electromagnetic energies of the universe flow in from the stars we see out there all around us, they converge at various angles, creating patterns that we perceive as geometric designs. With some of these angles, the resulting patterns take on the shape of solid matter; with others they may take on the appearance of liquids, or fire.

These energies are weaving patterns that we perceive as forms of material objects. Just as threads are woven into fabric, so the energy lines are woven into the fabric of material existence.
